AP Type Automotive Chassis Lubrication Pump

The AP type grease pump is built for centralised chassis lubrication on vehicles, and runs directly from the vehicle's own DC supply rather than from mains power. AP-31-300X takes DC 12V and AP-32-300X takes DC 24V; both draw 40 W and deliver 260 mL/min at a working pressure of 3.5 to 3.8 MPa.

The reservoir holds 3 L (about 3 kg of grease) and is moulded in polycarbonate, so the level can be read without opening the unit. A level switch is fitted as standard, and the pump has a built-in pressure take-off mechanism. The housing is rated IP55 against dust and water, for mounting on a chassis rail where it is exposed to road spray.

The model number records the build: AP-32-300X denotes a grease pump with a discharge capacity in the 200 to 300 cc/min band, DC 24V supply, a 3 L reservoir, and a built-in pressure take-off mechanism and level switch.

The pump takes NLGI 000# to 0# grease and connects through an M16 × 1.5 outlet to ø10 pipe. It pairs with AD, RH-3 or 35 type volumetric distributors, or with U-shape and SD progressive distributors, to feed each lubrication point on the chassis.

It is used on buses, trucks, trailers and engineering machinery, where the alternative is greasing a large number of chassis points by hand.
