The HL type comes fitted with a level switch, and a pressure switch can be added depending on the application. Together, the two let the pump detect pressure and oil level across the system, combining intermittent operation with an alarm function automatically.
A pump with a pressure take-off mechanism pairs with a positive-displacement volumetric distributor, forming a volumetric lubrication system that delivers a dosed amount of oil to each lube point. A pump without a pressure take-off mechanism pairs with a resist-type distributor instead, delivering oil in proportion to each lube point.
